Action Plan for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration

As a consultant (writer) with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), I was tasked with finalizing the action plan to guide the implementation of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

This action plan sets out the next steps to collectively work towards the goals and vision of the UN Decade. Moving from strategy to action, the plan aims to mobilize all stakeholders around key priority areas for restoration – the Restoration Challenges - and set in motion a wave of activity to protect and restore ecosystems and make peace with nature.
